UNIFIED STRUCTURES 

LIRIC is a functional consortium composed of three independent nodes belonging to different organizations but working in the same field.

The consortium preserves the independent management of each node while coordinating and strengthening shared structures and activities.

Core cohesion elements include:

  • Unified governance

  • Educational activities (internal and external)
  • Research projects
  • Scientific and lay communication
  • Shared structures and coordinated activities

Executive Committee: 

Composed of the primary representatives of each node: 

  • Daiana Ibarretxe Gerediaga (IP, UVASMET)
  • Josep Ribalta (IP, URLA)
  • Núria Amigó (CEO, Biosfer Teslab)
  • Lluís Masana (President)

The Executive Committee oversees all educational, research, development, and innovation activities and defines the mechanisms to maintain LIRIC cohesion. It is responsible for all operational decisions.

UNIFIED GOVERNANCE

LIRIC is composed of the following nodes:

  • “Unitat de Medicina Vascular i Metabolisme” (UVASMET), Sant Joan University Hospital
  • “Unitat de Recerca en Lípids i Arteriosclerosis” (URLA), Rovira i Virgili University
  • Biosfer Teslab (Biotech company)

Each node maintains its independent management.
